One-stop car repair and service start-up Fixcraft has acquired “VMotive”, an auto parts brand from Vogo, along with its brand. The V-Motive team will also join Fixcraft as part of this agreement. With this acquisition, Fixcraft will be able to strategically deepen its game in the Indian automotive aftermarket. India’s automotive aftermarket is valued at $24 billion, which is the third highest in the world.
Fixcraft’s vision is to be a comprehensive player in the Indian car repair and maintenance industry across the entire value chain. With “VMotive” in its portfolio of offerings, this would enable the availability of genuine, high-quality spare parts. VMotive spare parts are manufactured according to the specifications of the main automotive brands and are therefore considered as a means of enhancing the credibility of the services offered by the company.
Speaking about the acquisition, Vivek Sharma, Founder and CEO, Fixcraft, said: “VMotive in Fixcraft’s portfolio of offerings reinforces our role in the car repair and aftermarket segment across the value chain. We continue to work to raise repair standards and after-sales service by working for all industry stakeholders.”
The company has raised a total of $2.5 million since its inception in 2018. The company operates in Delhi-NCR and Bengaluru, but plans to expand its presence in 10 Indian metropolitan cities over the next 12 months. It served over 35,000 people in both cities.
